NiKAL STUDiO (“we”, “us”) keeps this website deliberately simple: no accounts, no tracking, no ads. This page explains the little data we do handle, and why.

Information we collect
We collect very little, and only what you choose to give us:
- Newsletter — if you sign up in the “Be first under the eclipse” form, we collect your email address to send you occasional launch announcements. Nothing else is required.
- Language preference — your EN/FR choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so we remember it on your next visit. It never leaves your device.
- Technical logs — like any website, our hosting provider keeps basic server logs (IP address, browser, page requested, timestamp) for a short time, for security and to keep the site running.
- Fonts — this page loads Jost, Josefin Sans and Space Mono from Google Fonts’ servers, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them and your IP address is visible to Google in the process.
How we use it
We use your email address for one thing only: sending you an email when we launch something new. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your data with advertisers.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of providers:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) — our email marketing provider, EU-based and EU-hosted, handles the newsletter list and sends the confirmation and launch emails. See Brevo’s Privacy Policy →
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site.
Data retention
We keep your email address on our newsletter list until you unsubscribe (a link is in every email) or ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these, including unsubscribing or deleting your email from our list, contact us at the address below and we will act on it promptly. If you’re in France, you can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Any change will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
